Training and Consultancy

Taking our learning and knowledge beyond  MAC-UK provides another opportunity to make mental health accessible to some of the UK's most deprived young people.

As part of MAC-UK’s training and consultancy, MAC-UK staff, together with young people, deliver mental health awareness training to other youth related service providers, in particular homeless hostels.

MAC-MAT

MAC-UK runs free mental health awareness training carried out by young people, called MAC-MAT.  The service is free and aimed at professionals and young people working in youth services. For details please contacts us at training@mac-uk.org  

Doctoral teaching

MAC-UK clinical psychologists, young people and youth workers teach doctoral level clinical psychology students about our community psychology approach. Universities that have benefitted from this include Exeter University, Oxford University, Plymouth University, Salomons (part of Canterbury Christ Church University), University College London and University of East London.
