Become a Friend of MAC-UK!
In order to plan most effectively for MAC-UK projects coming up, we are inviting you to become a “Friend of MAC-UK” by pledging a regular donation. The first 10 supporters to sign up will be invited to visit our offices for the opportunity to really get to know us and what we do. You will enjoy refreshments whilst meeting key members of staff, including our CEO Dr Charlie Alcock, clinical psychologists and young people we work with. To sign up all you have to do is fill in a short pledge form, sign it and send it to MAC-UK, c/o The Winchester Project, 21 Winchester Road, London NW3 3NR or contact us on info@mac-uk.org or 020 7722 9771 for details.
Fundraising at work, on your own or in the local community...
Thank you for thinking about fundraising for MAC-UK. Your time, energy and commitment are greatly appreciated and make a huge difference to the lives of some of the most deprived young people in the UK. Why not try fundraising at work by putting on an event or selling home made cakes? Or how about asking your community to help by putting on a pub quiz in your local? If you are trying to get fit, there are hundreds of fun runs, marathons, walks or bike rides to choose from so getting sponsored for one of these would mean getting healthy and raising money at the same time.
Fundraising as a brand or business...
If your brand, business or company is looking to develop its corporate social responsibility (CSR), there are a number of opportunities at MAC-UK including pure funding, partnerships, branded content and AFP. Get in touch for more information on info@mac-uk.org
Raise money for us by registering your company with a payroll giving agency - it's very simple to do and completely free of charge. Just follow the steps here. For more information about the benefits of payroll giving please see the Inland Revenue website.
Leaving a Legacy
Another way to support the work of MAC-UK is through leaving a gift in your will. Creating a legacy will help support a cause you cared about in your lifetime, making mental health accessible to deprived young people.
Charitable gifts are exempt from Inheritance Tax which means that the government will not take a percentage of the value in tax, and all money will go towards your chosen charitable cause. The Government has recently introduced a 10 per cent inheritance tax discount for estates leaving 10 per cent or more to charity.
If you would like to remember MAC-UK in your will, the government has a webpage that will guide you. It can be found here.
